Humans tented to settle in areas that had a large variety of resources and a climate that could sustain life. Humans did this because it was easier to gather resources and grow crops.
In the past humans use to settle in areas where the land had good soil for farming and preferably if it was flat because then it is easier to farm. They settled where they could farm because that is how they made their food.
Ivan Cukanic - In the past, humans tended to settle on grassy plains because they are good for farming and raising cattle. Plains were good for building too.
People settled in different place because of the climate and the topography. In warmer regions of the world there are different climates which impacts what type of plants will grow there. People would also settle if there is enough resource to sustain a long enough period of life and to build house and buildings.
In the past many people were farmers so they tend to settle where there was good land and soil. Also they needed good climate so that crops could be able to grow.
I think humans tended to settle in a place where there was good climate because most people were farmers. If there was bad climate the crops could get ruined. This means that they tended to settle in a place that was more in the country than city.
In the past many people were farmers thats why they tend to settle where there was good land, soil and also they wanted to find a place with good climate.
People settled in certain places in the past that had good soil to farm and grow food on and that had a climate that was not too cold or too warm for them or their crops.
In the past, where did humans tend to settle and why?
Hello Everyone
Well, humans used to settle in places that were comfortable for them, and where they had all the things necessary for life. One of the most important things people used to tend to look after was farms, lakes, other things like that. But also, they liked having food and water near them. Humans used to settle near farms because getting the food would be easier. Also, humans liked to settle in places that weren’t cold, because It was hard for them to get to the temperature they wanted. Most people were trying to stay away from places where many natural disasters, and climate changes occurred, but that’s also something people try to do today.
Humans settled to places where the climate suited them best and where there food was easily gathered or planted. Sometimes it was cause by natural disasters that caused their natural habits to change and them to move. But they dont always move but change their habitat and use the local animals to help you life. Like people from the mountains used yaks from transportation, milk and food.
People settled near water, animals, and plants, because near water they have fish and they can plant the plants. Near animals because they need food, fur and other things from animals. Near the plants because they can use their juice and they can use their toxic to kill animal, and they are using plants for medicine.
People tended to settle places near food, water, lots of resources to use to live. They also tended to settle somewhere with the right climate for farming and the right topography for the farmers to make their life easier! With a lot of resources to use such as trees (for wood), plants (for food), etc., they could make houses for themselves to get some shade, and some other plants and animals, to kill and eat.
People settle in their houses to take care of there baby's and make sure there food is still their. Make sure their baby's are safe. And then men would go hunting for food and the wool would be used as blankets and for shad. Would eat plants and kill animals to eat.
